EMPLOYEE CANDIDATE CLARIFICATION TEXT

As Methis Hotel, the security and protection of your personal data is of great importance to us. Within the framework of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (‘Law’), we take the necessary technical and administrative measures to ensure that personal data is processed in accordance with the law and securely protected. We process your personal data in accordance with the procedures and principles stipulated in the Law and other relevant legislation. In this context, we process your personal data only for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes, keeping them up-to-date when necessary, in accordance with the law and good faith.

WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE PROCESS?

Your Personal Data of Normal Nature: Name, surname, date and place of birth, gender, Turkish ID number, address, telephone, military service status, marital status, number of children-age, number of dependents, education status, foreign language knowledge, computer information, technical information, work experience information, trainings/courses taken, driving licence information, travel disability status, reference person information, questions regarding job and salary requests, photographs and camera recordings.

Your Special Categories of Personal Data: Health status, criminal record.

HOW DO WE OBTAIN YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We obtain your personal data through filling out the job application form, applying by e-mail or through your application on our website. In case of a job interview, we may obtain your visual data through cameras at Methis Hotel locations.

FOR WHAT LEGAL REASONS AND PURPOSES DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We use your personal data for the purpose of processing your personal data as necessary for the establishment of an employment contract within the framework of the legal relationship intended to be established between you and Methis Hotel and in line with the legitimate interests of the data controller. This includes carrying out the application processes of employee candidates and ensuring the security of the physical space.

TO WHOM AND FOR WHAT PURPOSES DO WE TRANSFER YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Your personal data is not transferred outside Methis Hotel.

YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE LAW ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

Regarding your personal data in accordance with Article 11 of the Law:

  • To learn whether your personal data is being processed,
  • To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with these purposes,
  • To learn whether personal data are transferred domestically or abroad and to whom they are transferred,
  • Request correction if incomplete or incorrectly processed,
  • To request its deletion or destruction within the specified conditions,
  • To request notification of the transactions made in case of implementation of the correction, deletion or destruction requests to third parties to whom personal data are transferred,
  • If you suffer damage due to unlawful processing, you have the right to demand compensation for the damage.
